In Praise of Possibility

This is the 100th post here – appropriately at the start of a week which is full of possibility.

Here in Wales, the Oi conference takes place on Thursday with Mark Schaefer , as keynote speaker. 200 people will be attending, at an event dreamt up by Tony Dowling and Mark who connected via their blogs.

Who knows what further possibilities will be explored between people that day?

For those of you who won’t be there, I’ll be running an interactive session about blogs, e-books and creativity.

Preparing has reminded me how creativity is about discontent, about the gap between what is and what might be.

It reminded me how we define ourselves through being creative – and in doing so connect with others. It is the creative spark spread through jokes, great movies, elegiac music – or blogs even – which shares our humanity.

And it made me want to remind you that if you have the slightest desire to attempt, make or share some interesting and constructive content online, you must, please, do so.

You owe it to the web to outbalance the dross.

And to celebrate this century and this conference, Your Blog Voice is free at Amazon from Thurs 20th to Sat 22nd this week.

Just six places are available at this one-off ‘Blog and E-Book Creation for Business’ workshop on the 1st October in Cardiff, South Wales.
